Level: Director Location: Ireland / Dublin / Limerick Available for Work Visa Sponsorship: NO Business Area: FSO Assurance Contract Type: Full-Time – Permanent The Team and the opportunity EY’s Aviation Advisory team supports aircraft lessors, investors and aviation stakeholders across the asset lifecycle. We are seeking a Director to lead and grow our Technical Asset Management offering, combining deep aviation expertise with client leadership, lease management and operational oversight. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced aviation professional to lead complex engagements, manage multidisciplinary teams and act as a trusted adviser to clients across technical asset management, aviation lease management and operational improvement. Your key responsibilities
Lead technical asset management and lease management engagements for aviation clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and commercial success. Build and manage senior client relationships, supporting business development, proposals and new opportunities. Lead and develop technical teams across multiple client engagements. Oversee aircraft portfolios, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of technical, contractual and asset data. Manage lease administration activities, including amendments, notices, insurance documentation and compliance obligations. Oversee maintenance reserve and power-by-the-hour processes, including claims, reconciliations and commercial analysis. Manage asset and lease onboarding within contract management systems. Review technical records, inspections, LLP data and aircraft specifications throughout the asset lifecycle. Advise on maintenance reserve pricing, asset valuations and technical due diligence activities. Lead the implementation and optimisation of contract management and technical records systems. Act as a technical subject matter expert on aircraft, engine and operational matters. Collaborate with lessors, operators, MROs, OEMs and other stakeholders to resolve technical and commercial issues. Drive a culture of quality, continuous improvement and risk management.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Significant experience in technical asset management, aviation leasing, engineering or maintenance operations. Proven experience leading technical teams and complex aviation engagements. Strong knowledge of aircraft leasing, contract management and lease compliance. Experience managing aircraft records, inspections, acquisitions and redeliveries. Experience implementing and optimising contract management and technical records systems. Strong understanding of aircraft and engine maintenance environments. A relevant degree in aeronautical engineering, aviation, engineering or a related discipline. Experience in client relationship management, business development and commercial negotiations.
Ideally, you will also have
Experience with aviation contract management and technical records systems (e.g. Aerdata, LeaseWorks, Sparta). Experience managing LLP data, aircraft specifications and technical inspections. Knowledge of aircraft engine maintenance, inspections and redelivery requirements. Experience supporting lessors, private
