Scopely is looking for a Lead Game Capture Artist to join our Marketing Creative Services team, Flamed, in our Barcelona office on a hybrid basis. (3 days a week)

What you will do
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, organize, and mentor the capture art team, maximizing workflow efficiency, guiding their creative and technical growth, and establishing standard methodologies.
• Project Oversight & Direction: Lead and oversee gameplay capture projects for Monopoly GO! from pre-production ideation and storyboarding through to final delivery and polish.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with creative directors, art directors, producers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality, consistency, and on-brand execution of all capture assets.
• Advanced In-Game Scene Setup & Capture: Direct and execute the staging, shooting, and capture of high-end gameplay footage, cinematic sequences, and 3D model stills using diverse Unity game builds.
• Cinematography & FX Direction: Provide artistic and technical direction on dynamic camera work, lighting, action pacing, and visual effects to craft impactful, high-energy scenes.
• Workflow Optimization: Evaluate, design, and establish best practices, pipelines, and technical processes to ensure smooth asset delivery and capture efficiency across the team.
• Review & Quality Assurance: Review team outputs, provide constructive cross-feedback, and guide external vendors to ensure alignment with the visual identity and performance goals of the brand.
What you will need
• 7+ years of experience in gameplay capture, layout, pre-visualization, or 3D environment design within gaming, marketing, or film, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• An excellent video reel (Mandatory) demonstrating expert-level cinematography, gameplay capture, and scene composition.
• Deep Unity Proficiency: Expert-level hands-on experience building complex scenes, staging animations, and managing camera setups within Unity.
• Unreal Engine Mastery: Must have hands-on experience using Unreal Engine to produce cinematic-quality renders.
• Leadership & Coordination: Solid understanding of team coordination, pipeline organization, and team capacity management in fast-paced creative environments.
• Cinematic Mastery: Expert grasp of cinematic language, camera mechanics, lenses, depth of field, motion blur, and realistic animation timing.
• Strong Visual Taste: Excellent art direction, eye for framing, visual composition, color harmony, and dynamic storytelling.
• Post-Production Suite: Proficient with industry-standard editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Solution-oriented attitude with the composure to deliver high-quality work, guide the team under pressure, and manage tight production
