Gartner is looking for well-rounded and motivated developers to join the Gartner Peer Insights Team. This team is responsible for developing a scalable and secure platform for Gartner Peer Platform sites. The team works on advanced tools and techniques for high-performance web development, data processing, and system integration. What you’ll do: Build and deliver products & applications integrating with various databases, AWS Services and REST APIs. Work with Open-source technologies and applications using NodeJS and ReactJS in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment. Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, and integration tests Translate designs and style guides provided by the Design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance. Participates in the technical design process, expected to contribute own ideas for changes/new features; Capable of owning independent small-to-medium features all the way through from technical design to launch. Conducts system analysis, working closely with a Lead engineer, to improve operations. What you’ll need: Must have: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related engineering field with experience in software development. 2-4 years of experience developing customers facing products or web applications. Expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS/Next.JS and Typescript is a must. Expert skills in CSS, HTML, and Design libraries. Experience working with consumption/creation of Restful APIs Strong experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Good understanding of security best practices.
