Job Description
Shift/Hours: Night Shift– 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM Hourly Rate: $31.00 with $1.00 shift premium Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Follows and has a high regard for safety rules and housekeeping procedures. • Supports safety systems through incident investigation, awareness, risk analysis, and training. • Supports all quality systems along with focus to minimize quality rework • Ability to provide coach and develop with effective and constructive feedback and clear expectations to ensure site goals are met. • Demonstrates ability to energize and motivate team. • Strong attendance track record and plans ahead for any exceptions. • Assists in managing production employees during operation with a positive attitude. • Actively participates in implementation of continuous improvement and Lean principles to drive process improvements to increase efficiency. Assists in developing and implementing cost saving initiatives. • Ensures that planned metrics related to Safety, Quality, Deliver and Cost are met. Adherence to Escalation Policy to communicate any support required or obstacles in achieving planned metrics. • Documented track record of consistently using data-based decision making to achieve desired results. • Strong collaboration with team to improve results to safely serve our customers. • Possesses strong interpersonal skills and demonstrates the ability to express thoughts and opinions with clarity, accuracy, and attention to detail. • Possess ability to manage employee relations situations. • Initiates activities related to safety, quality and performance on the shop floor. • Demonstrates outstanding troubleshooting skills on processes and equipment. • Pays close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously. • Works independently with minimal supervision. • Assists in all aspects of employee development and training and ensures cross training matrix enables flexibility. Qualifications
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. 2-year or 4-year degree is preferred but not required. Candidates currently pursuing a degree are also encouraged to apply 3 + years of work experience in manufacturing and the field of management or supervision. Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English. Microsoft Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be able to solve mathematical problems at the high school level. Ability and willingness to work overtime with little or no notice.
