Role Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and delivery-focused Graduate Consultant to join our UK Operations team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is keen to develop technical consulting skills across environmental site assessment, ground investigation data, geotechnical interpretation, reporting, GIS/CAD and multidisciplinary project delivery. You will support projects across sectors such as transportation, energy, water resources, real estate, industrial, manufacturing and technology, working with experienced consultants, engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality technical outputs for clients in the UK and other global markets. Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessment reports, ground investigation summaries and technical deliverables. Collate, review and tabulate environmental, geological, hydrogeological and geotechnical data. Support the processing and presentation of intrusive site investigation records, including borehole logs, laboratory data and field observations. Prepare figures, drawings, plans and basic spatial outputs using GIS/CAD tools, where required. Contribute to report writing, data interpretation, technical notes, schedules, charts and project documentation. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including environmental consultants, geotechnical engineers, planners, designers and project managers. Help maintain project records, data management systems, task trackers and quality documentation. Deliver assigned tasks on time, within budget and in accordance with Arcadis quality, health, safety and business management requirements. About You

A degree or postgraduate qualification in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydrogeology or a related discipline. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and willingness to work with large datasets. Basic understanding of environmental site assessment, ground investigation techniques, soil and groundwater data, or geotechnical principles. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and an interest in data management, GIS, CAD, Power BI or digital tools would be advantageous. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage tasks to agreed deadlines. Curiosity, enthusiasm and a proactive approach to learning from senior colleagues and project teams.
