Key Responsibilities Provide project management support and mechanical engineering guidance for industrial facilities and infrastructure projects. Support the development and maintenance of engineering standards, specifications, and procedures. Monitor contractor performance to ensure work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. Manage and control site activities to achieve project objectives within approved schedule and budget constraints. Prepare and present project progress reports, forecasts, and status updates to management. Lead projects through all project phases, from concept and scope development through technical evaluation, execution, commissioning, and handover. Coordinate engineering activities and pre-operational testing required for successful commissioning and start-up. Evaluate proposed projects and provide technical recommendations. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and supporting project documentation. Monitor and assess contractor performance and compliance with project requirements. Follow instructions and guidance provided by the designated Project Manager or Engineer-in-Charge. Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout project execution. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master's degree in Engineering, Management, or a Project Management certification is advantageous. Chartered Engineer status is considered an advantage. Experience & Skills Minimum 10 years of project, design, and engineering experience within heavy industrial environments. Experience in brownfield industrial projects is preferred. Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices. Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Working knowledge of engineering and drafting software such as AutoCAD. Experience with project planning software such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera. Sound understanding of budgets, contractual requirements, business processes, and organizational decision-making. Experience supervising installation and commissioning of bulk material handling equipment, including conveyors and associated static and rotating equipment. Proven experience managing contractors and multidisciplinary project teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting. Demonstrated decision-making, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities. Knowledge of standard contract terms and conditions.
