About this role

Product Engineer - Electrical (Phetchaburi-Based) New Grads welcome Description - Job Summary We are seeking a motivated engineer to join our HP Inkjet Operations team in Thailand. This role offers a unique opportunity to support Inkjet printer manufacturing operations, new product launches, process improvement, cost reduction, and product issue resolution in a dynamic factory environment. The candidate will work closely with local manufacturing and quality teams, the Singapore engineering team, R&D labs, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth factory execution and successful product delivery to worldwide markets. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving real manufacturing problems, working across teams, and making practical improvements that impact product quality, factory efficiency, launch readiness, and cost competitiveness. We are looking for someone with drive, curiosity, motivation, and a strong willingness to learn. A growth mindset, positive attitude, and eagerness to learn and contribute are more important than meeting all of the listed requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide electrical and electronics product engineering support for Inkjet printer manufacturing operations. Support new product introduction activities, including engineering builds, pilot builds, production ramp, manufacturing readiness, and timely issue closure. Troubleshoot electrical, electronics, and electromechanical product issues involving printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), power supplies, wiring and connectors, sensors, motors, control panels, communication interfaces, and hardware-firmware interactions. Use schematics, electrical specifications, diagnostic logs, test results, measurement equipment, production observations, samples, and failure data to support root cause analysis and corrective actions. Work with production, quality, Singapore engineering, R&D labs, suppliers, and other stakeholders to contain issues, validate root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence. Drive improvements to manufacturing test coverage, diagnostic capability, product quality, yield, cycle time, throughput, and overall factory performance. Support cost reduction through component or supplier changes, test optimization, automation, yield improvement, and electrical design or process simplification while protecting product quality and reliability. Support component, PCBA, supplier, and product qualification activities to avoid or mitigate shipment risks arising from quality, reliability, compliance, or assurance-of-supply issues. Support validation of engineering fixes, electrical design changes, firmware updates, test changes, and manufacturing improvements using clear acceptance criteria and data-driven conclusions. Coordinate issue communication, technical reviews, status updates, action plans, risk assessments, and concise engineering summaries across local and regional teams. Contribute to Future Ready transformation initiatives, including opportunities to apply AI, machine learning, automation, and data analytics to improve engineering productivity, failure analysis, process control, and decision-making.

Education & Experience

Recommended We are looking for a high performer with the following qualifications. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent discipline. Typically, 1-2 years of relevant experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, electronics manufacturing, test engineering, quality engineering, factory support, or a related field is an advantage. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Good analytical, structured problem-solving, and hands-on troubleshooting skills. Basic understanding of electrical and electronic circuits, PCBAs, component functions, power and signal integrity, interfaces, manufacturing test, and product assembly. Ability to read electrical schematics and
