About the role

Reporting to the Catalogue and Product Manager, as the Catalogue & Product Specialist , you will be responsible for maintaining accurate, complete and reliable product catalogue information. You will research automotive parts, manage catalogue data and cross-referencing, and support product-range opportunities across the business. This role requires strong attention to detail, parts interpretation skills and the ability to manage high-volume data in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Champion APG Values - Customer First, Smart Service, One Team and Safe for All. Research, create and maintain accurate product and catalogue listings. Perform data entry and manage parent/child listings, cross-references and supersessions. Review, audit and maintain catalogue data to support accurate internal and external product information. Research manufacturer and industry information to identify range gaps and new product opportunities. Support sales and purchasing teams with parts interpretation, product enquiries and catalogue information. Assist with product training and ensure product information is communicated consistently across the business. Identify opportunities to improve catalogue processes, data quality and reporting.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Experience in automotive parts interpretation, cataloguing, product data or a similar role. Strong data-entry skills, accuracy and attention to detail. Experience using Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPCs), catalogue systems or similar databases. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. Ability to research, interpret and cross-reference automotive parts information. Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
