Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methods. Experience using performance metrics or data to guide decisions. Experience coaching, motivating, and developing team members. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Standard Job Description Role Overview Lead multiple areas of a manufacturing operation, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, or packaging. You’ll coordinate employees and work assignments while supporting hiring, training, performance management, and day-to-day team development.
Key Responsibilities
Manage more than one manufacturing function or work area. Coordinate employee work assignments across assigned areas. Support recruitment and selection of manufacturing employees. Train and develop team members. Assess employee performance and provide appropriate feedback. Support employee recognition and disciplinary actions. Coordinate manufacturing activities to help the team meet operational goals.

Manufacturing and production environment. Leadership role supporting multiple functional areas. Regular interaction with employees and other manufacturing teams.
