Job Description
Our Opportunity Chewy is hiring Specialists for our Category Management team in our headquarters in Plantation, FL. These Specialists will support specific categories; Responsibilities include managing vendor ticket resolution, promotions setup, new vendor & new SKU onboarding and new assortment onboarding. The Category Specialist will often be the first point of contact for vendors; it is critical to deliver high quality, thoughtful service to our vendors. This person will directly shape our vendor partners and customers experience, which in turn, builds the Chewy brand. A successful candidate will execute and deliver priorities in an organized fashion and according to service level agreements (SLAs). They should be able to consistently deliver routine tasks that support broader category strategies and maintain vendor relationships through challenging situations. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal & written communication skills, attention to detail, absorb information & experiences quickly and apply learnings, and be able to work well with internal and external stakeholders. Candidates should also be flexible, solution-oriented, and have a customer-oriented mindset.
What You'll Do
Resolve vendor tickets on a daily/weekly basis in line with our SLAs Set up and execute promotions as per category manager direction Ensure new vendors / new SKUs are onboarded according to SLAs; troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary Work cross-functionally with supply chain, private label, finance, catalog and promotion teams What You'll Need Completion of a BS/BA degree 0-1+ years of experience with a preference in eCommerce, buying, account management, product management, category management, operations, analytics, finance or marketing Good analytical abilities and problem-solving skills (Excel, SQL is a plus) Strong verbal and written communication, self-starter with a bias for action, attention to detail, solid time, data and organizational management skills.
