THE ROLE :   We are looking for an adaptive, self- motivated expert systems engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor , you will have a strong technical background to contribute to all aspects of the software development process .   In this role, you will have full ownership of requirements delivery and drive projects to completion .     THE PERSON:   You're a highly motivated team player with a strong development background, problem solving mentality, excellent communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks a long with willingness to learn and adapt. Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently.

Develop and support enterprise applications at expert level and drive timely resolution      Facilitate stand-up meetings, reviews, estimation, sprint, release planning, demos, burndown tracking, and other Scrum related meetings      Interface between AMD and external partners to ensure SLA across partners are met      Independent and joint collaboration between multi-functional teams for development, testing, debugging and implement requirements for enterprise application       Excellent teamwork skills and capable of working independently      Particularly good communicator, able to engage and effectively respond to diverse partners      Able to proactively support team culture that fosters knowledge sharing, excellence, and collaboration        PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:   Proven experience with C/C++   Experience in facilitating Agile , Scrum or Kanban      Skilled in scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, and Shell script      Proficient with revision control (GIT, SVN and CVS)      Experience crafting and supporting cloud environments, including IaaS and PaaS      Database development, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server      Good balance of hardware, architecture, and software expertise      Great teammate with excellent collaborative skills   Familiar with Linux/Unix OS        ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:   Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred       #LI-CC1 Benefits offered are described:  AMD benefits at a glance .   AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
