About the Team ByteDance's Global Engineering CDN team builds and operates a highly available, cost-efficient, and high-performance global multi-cloud CDN platform that powers large-scale products such as TikTok. Our platform integrates both self-built CDN infrastructure and commercial CDN vendors across multiple regions worldwide, delivering reliable and optimized content delivery for diverse global markets. The team develops and operates core platform capabilities including domain onboarding and configuration management, content management, data analytics, and global traffic optimization. Working in a highly distributed and complex environment, we continuously evolve the platform to support both static content delivery and dynamic acceleration, while optimizing for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency. Engineers in this team work across both software development and production operations, gaining hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems, global traffic management, and multi-cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities - Participate in the development, operation, and continuous improvement of ByteDance's self-built CDN platform. - Support internal service teams in adopting the self-built CDN platform, including onboarding, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization. - Help improve platform supportability, operational workflows, and technical enablement for large-scale CDN services. - Contribute to CDN technical documentation, including onboarding guides, configuration references, troubleshooting playbooks, and best practices. - Participate in CDN knowledge base construction to improve knowledge sharing, issue resolution, and engineering efficiency.
