Job Description
Join AECOM's Perth Water Resources team as a Graduate Hydrologist , supporting flood, drainage, and water resources projects across mining, development, and government clients Work alongside experienced engineers and hydrologists on a variety of projects spanning flood modelling, stormwater management, and catchment assessments How you’ll make a difference: Assist in the development of hydrologic and hydraulic models (e.g. TUFLOW, RORB, HEC-RAS) for flood and drainage studies Support data collection, GIS analysis, and catchment delineation for project inputs Contribute to technical reports, design drawings, and client deliverables under senior guidance Assist with site investigations, data gathering, and field assessments as required Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including transport and mining teams, as well as civil, environmental, and structural engineers Support preparation of proposals and scopes of work What our Graduate Program offers: Graduate Introduction: Kickstart connections with peers and leaders. Qualifications
Graduate Attributes: We’re seeking graduates with strong communication and teamwork skills, a proactive and adaptable mindset, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity. Bachelor’s Degree: You must be in your final year or have completed a Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, or a related field. Graduate Year: You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program. Commencement: You must be able to commence work by February 2027. We are open to mid-year finishers who are able to commence by July 2027. Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia before applying.
