JOB SUMMARY To supervise the Property team and ensure the bedrooms, meeting rooms, restaurant, bar, leisure facilities and public areas are maintained to Company, legislation and health and safety standards through the process of planned maintenance and day-to-day upkeep. SCOPE/BUSINESS CONTEXT
A Full Time position based at the London Marriott Hotel Kensington.
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE Experience:
Two years experience in supervisory role required Previous experience in Hotel Property or service industry preferable Qualified electrician or plumber desirable
Customer service skills
Strong Communication skills Able to work on own initiative Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Presentable
The following are specific responsibilities and contributions critical to the successful performance of the position:

SPECIFIC DUTIES JOB FUNCTIONS:
Supervise and delegate to shift associates to ensure specific departmental procedures are followed in the repair, maintenance, alteration and installation of work carried out in the Hotel. Responsible for ensuring the disciplines technology platforms (i.e. Transcendent, RPM and Energy data management) are implemented to a high quality, that data is accurate and are fully utilized. Liaise with suppliers and contractors in the absents of the Property Manager Work with the Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager to maximize assets, drive guest satisfaction, support business performance to ensure effective delivery of results and execution of initiatives. Day to day management of centralized maintenance contracts to ensure Marriott standards are complied with and owner’s assets are maximized. Fosters a positive and proactive work environment. Take responsibility for managing safe working practices for contractors and co-workers Ability to organize workloads for other team members Assist department management in interviewing, selection, training and counseling of new department associates. To prioritise work schedules in relation to customer needs. To take adequate care in relation to health and safety and action any relevant areas. Develops and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments. Communicate with team leaders in relation to any maintenance repairs requiring action.
OTHER
Performs other related tasks as assigned by management. Complies with Marriott International Hotels Limited Regional Office policies and procedures. Working hours as required to do your job but normally not less than 40 hours per week.
