Job Summary
The NiSource Talent Acquisition team identifies, attracts, and acquires talent to support the goals & objectives of the organization and develops sourcing strategies to continue to build pipelines for future needs of the business. The Talent Sourcing & Engagement Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. As a Talent Acquisition team member, this person will work closely with hiring managers, candidates and newly hired employees in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and will play a key role in shaping the candidate's impression of NiSource during the candidate and onboarding experience. Essential Functions Pull reports for weekly orientation/onboarding meetings & ensures data integrity in Workday Provide support to team members, feedback on processes and procedures, and participate in various projects as assigned Act as the point of contact for orientation & onboarding answering questions about pre-employment and onboarding processes to ensure prompt completion and a positive candidate experience Manages the new hire orientation & onboarding process which includes sending welcome email communication and performing I-9 calls with new hires and leaders to ensure compliance. Assist with facilitation of orientation & onboarding sessions and provide updates during weekly meetings Supports the usage of external career websites, job boards and social media recruitment efforts to maximize utilization, in addition to partnering with vendors and recruitment Partners with Talent attraction team to help coordinate and execute recruiting events specific to networking and sourcing including securing meeting space, catering needs, equipment, travel arrangements and room layout Arrange travel, transportation, and accommodation for candidates Maintain consistent communication with the Talent Acquisition leadership and their teams Identifies, recommends, and assists in the implementation of Talent Acquisition process improvements Improves recruiting activities, recordkeeping, and budgeting through use of available technology and process improvements Maintain accurate expense records associated with sourcing Other duties, as assigned Required Qualifications For Position Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and support multiple people/programs simultaneously. Detail oriented and comfortable with a high volume of work. Knowledge of I-9 requirements and various types of employment authorization in the United States. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to exercise independent judgment to make timely decisions and prioritize projects/responsibilities. Must possess strong technical skills in tools such as Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, etc.) Excellent oral and written communication skills. Continuous improvement skills to create solutions to recruiting process problems with the ATS or other areas, work with the HR Community to evaluate solution options, tracks as changes are implemented and communicates final improvement solutions. Preferred Additional Qualifications for Position Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality (event planning/coordination) or other relevant field 2+ years of experience with an ATS (Workday preferred).
