Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience; or Master's degree, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position The General Dynamics Mission Systems, Space Force MUOS team, has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineering Integration & Test Lead. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS
Plans the technical approach, resources, schedule, budget, and equipment required for testing and evaluating new systems, products and special devices Leads the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle Generates system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products Leads the development and coordinates functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems Leads the design, development, and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing Leads and manage employees Leads small technical proposals and contribute to medium sized proposals Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments Manages and ensures the successful completion of major programs and projects Works on advanced applications that may result in new business for the company Frequent, effective contact with staff of all levels across the companyServes as consultant to management and customers on projects and major initiatives Travel may be required Security clearance may be required Frequent contributions to the development of innovative principles and ideas Major contributor to the achievement of business objectives
