Title and Summary Platform Engineer II Basic support for IT services, such as Windows Server/application technologies assistance. This is an entry level IT support position, in which IT support tasks can be taught while on the job. Assist with day-to-day IT support functions and maintenance activities. Other technology support areas include server OS, various core software applications assistance services and physical device hardware or software maintenance. Major Accountabilities: •Assist escalated end users with Windows Server hardware or software problems. •Load or remove core and non-core software applications. •Moves, adds, and changes to Windows Server hardware and peripherals. •Perform project or maintenance tasks under the direction of management or upper level engineers. •Basic asset control and tracking services. • Lead/Assist Windows server hardware and OS upgrades Knowledge / Experience: •A basic knowledge and understanding of Windows Server and problem resolution procedures is preferred. •Windows server software experience or certifications will provide additional consideration. •Any help desk or customer contact skills will also provide additional consideration. •Experience with automation framework (PowerShell/Ansible/Terraform) Skills/ Abilities: •Professionalism skills and good work ethics are required. •Customer support and communications skills are preferred. •Ability to follow documented processes and procedures with minimal supervision Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must: Abide by Mastercard’s security policies and practices; Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed; Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard’s guidelines.
