POSITION SUMMARY
The Staff Accountant will support the Assistant Controller by ensuring the integrity and validity of financial data entered: Including JEs, Invoices, Payments. The Staff Accountant will have opportunities to develop skills in many different areas, including financial reporting, M&A integration, cash and expense management, and international operations.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Financial Statement Monthly/Quarterly Closing
• Prepare assigned account reconciliations and related analysis on a monthly/quarterly basis to identify potential discrepancies in account balances
• Participate in quarterly review procedures and annual audit, providing information and answers to auditor requests and inquiries
• Review and approve refund requests through Jira
• Monitor compliance with GAAP and company procedures and proactively communicate identified accounting/financial and control issues to Management
• Provide financial support to all users as required
• Review and approve weekly pricing into oracle and the reconciliation between Oracle and Power BI
• Other projects as required
• Prepare month end journal entries and related support
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 3-5 years of general ledger accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit
• Thoroughness and attention to details
• Strong analytical skills Preferred
• Experience with Oracle
• General ledger and month-end close experience
• Experience working in a global company
The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
