Key responsibilities in your new role Perform thermal and electrical (SI/PI) simulations to validate IC packages from concept through production release Identify thermal bottlenecks and electrical risks , translating findings into actionable design improvements Partner with IC design, PCB, and package teams to align on requirements and deliver successful end-to-end solutions Improve simulation efficiency and innovation through scripting (e.g., Python) and explore AI/ML-enhanced workflows Document results clearly and present technical insights to both specialist and non-specialist stakeholders Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed A Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science , or closely related field At least 1-3 years in thermal management, SI/PI simulation, or IC package engineering Strong foundation in heat transfer and thermal materials and hands-on experience with ANSYS Icepak Working knowledge of SI/PI concepts (transmission lines, PDN, crosstalk) and experience with ANSYS SIwave or Cadence Sigrity is a plus Proven ability to define boundary conditions , set up simulations, and critically interpret results Familiarity with Python or interest in AI/ML workflows is a welcome plus Analytical and detail-oriented team player with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Fluent in English .
