Standard Job Description You will be the System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products.
What You Will Be Doing
As the IT&E Engineer, you will be responsible for working in the laboratory onsite: • Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures • Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events • Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware • Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing • Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile • Leading the Lab Operations to ensure compliance, 6S and regular audit/inspections • Working closely with the Engineering Operations Directorate to synergize our working relationship • This position requires the ability to travel domestically to support program test events and meetings. Basic Qualifications 2+ years of relevant engineering experience 1+ years of system integration and/or test experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Aerospace) or Physics Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, lab operations, and test analysis principle Desired Skills MS in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration and Test (I&T) working with Hardware Integration with a focus on sensor integration Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure accurate and reliable test results Empowerment to drive mutually beneficial solutions when a clear answer is not readily visible Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and Development Verification Test (DVT) Active SECRET (or higher) clearance Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
