Job Summary: Responsible for organizing and tracking training for hourly production employees. Essential Functions/Duties and Responsibilities
Review and organize training plans Collaborating with Supervisors to determine employees areas of improvement Direct and coordinate production training activities and priorities to obtain maximum efficiency of training competencies aligned with production department goals Maintain and track training paperwork for hourly employees Identify training gaps and take appropriate steps to close the gap Assure all employee training checklists are being completed on time Meet with each employee in training to ensure training is being conducted Follow company GMP’s (Good Manufacturing Practices) Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety rules and policies Follow all general work rules and policies Supports continuous improvement initiatives Support employee retention initiatives Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Proven leadership skills Bilingual preferred Ability to improve unity of the production department with other areas
Required Skills/Abilities
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and procedure manuals Ability to write correspondence, ability to speak effectively to employees of the organization Excellent computer skills Excellent communication skills Experience in Excel, Outlook, Word Must be able to read, write, and speak English Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form Food manufacturing experience a plus Experience with Digital Production Systems (Redzone), and ERP Systems (i.e., Microsoft Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle) a plus Demonstrates a passion for safety and supports safe work practices.
Physical Demands and Work Environment: • Ability to lift 40 pounds repetitively • Ability to bend, twist, and stand on your feet for an entire shift •
