Key Responsibilities
Monitor and improve equipment performance, uptime, and utilization. Troubleshoot equipment failures and lead root cause analysis (RCA). Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions. Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Lead equipment installation, commissioning, and qualification activities. Drive yield, quality, productivity, and cost improvement projects. Analyze equipment and manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Utilize AI, machine learning, automation, and digital tools to improve operational efficiency and equipment reliability. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures. Train technicians and stakeholders on equipment operation and troubleshooting. Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams on strategic initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Experience with manufacturing, semiconductor, or automated production equipment. Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, DOE, RCA, and continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency in AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power BI AI features, predictive analytics tools) and ability to leverage data-driven insights for problem-solving, automation, and operational improvement. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments. Knowledge of Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Digital Twin, IoT, or advanced automation technologies. Experience applying AI or machine learning techniques for equipment monitoring, predictive maintenance, or process optimization. Project management and leadership experience.
