Our Financial & Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team consists of professionals with hands-on experience in implementing accounting standards, including planning and delivering complex projects such as transitions from local accounting regulations to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). We work closely with Chief Financial Officers, Audit Committee members, Treasury leaders, and other finance executives, helping them interpret upcoming changes in accounting standards and regulations and assess how these changes may impact their organizations. We provide support not only in navigating the complexities of IFRS, governance, and regulatory requirements, but also in addressing emerging trends in technology, including big data, and advising on the automation of financial processes. As an Intern within our Financial & Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team, you will become part of a group of professionals specializing in complex accounting and financial challenges. By leveraging the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies, our team successfully delivers solutions even for the most demanding client requirements.

Your key responsibilities    • Participate in consulting projects focused on the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) • Support projects related to the consolidation of financial statements for both international and local corporate groups • Help improve the efficiency of financial processes within client engagements • Contribute to the design, implementation, and optimization of business processes • Process and prepare data for projects focused on data analytics and reporting Skills and attributes for success • Third- or fourth-year university student in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field • Knowledge of accounting principles; familiarity with any of the following is considered an advantage but is not required: Slovak Accounting Standards, IFRS, or US GAAP • International experience, such as studying abroad or previous work experience in an international environment, is an advantage • Strong communication skills • Eagerness to learn and continuously develop professionally and personally • Client-oriented mindset • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Fluent English language skills • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications   What we offer you
