Laboratory Assistant II

FULL-TIME NIGHTS The Clinical Laboratory Assistant II – Phlebotomist performs routine technical and clerical functions to include specimen registration and billing. The CLA II performs venipuncture - capillary puncture as assigned, labels tubes and specimen containers, specimen receipt and distribution of laboratory specimens. The lab assistant II - phlebotomist performs CLIA waived laboratory tests as requested. Will assist in microbiology processing and plating specimens, as requested and completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
