Job Category Technology Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. The EDP is a one-year program where you will be placed in one of the four designated Engineering tracks: Software, Data, Cybersecurity or Infrastructure & Cloud. Each track is designed to grow and develop your technical and self-leadership skills. Within your assigned track, you will receive a combination of hands-on opportunities, an immersive learning journey, and a mentoring program to prepare you for a dynamic career. You will have the opportunity to explore multiple technologies while learning from different engineers within Travelers. Our five-week long technical learning accelerator consists of a mix of classroom, independent, and hands-on learning that is designed to fine-tune your skills and introduce you to Travelers technology. The accelerator focuses on providing you valuable training on multiple tools and technologies, but from a Travelers perspective. You will also learn about our software development lifecycle, enterprise engineering environments, artificial intelligence-enhanced practices, and working with Agile methodologies. As an EDP participant, you will model the way for others and set a personal example of what is expected. Travelers' Data Engineering team designs, builds, and tests a variety of complex data assets and applications that support our data science and business analytics communities, as well as providing key data inputs to our transactional systems.
