The Field Advisory Risk Vice President, as part of the Institutional Risk team, will be primarily responsible for engaging with the Institutional Consulting Solutions businesses, Morgan Stanley at Work, and the Field Risk and Service organization on field risk-related activities pertaining to these businesses. The role will provide risk advisory, oversight, and control support for business and field-facing activities, helping to ensure that risks are appropriately identified, assessed, escalated, and mitigated. These business include Corporate Cash, Government Entity, Graystone, Retirement, Stock Plan, and Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation. This individual will partner closely with stakeholders across Wealth Management, Field Advisory Risk, Morgan Stanley at Work Risk, Institutional Consulting Solutions, business management, Legal, Compliance, Supervision, Operations, and other control functions. The successful candidate will bring strong judgment, risk management expertise, communication skills, and the ability to provide practical guidance in a dynamic, highly regulated environment.

Provide risk advisory support to the Institutional Consulting Solutions and Morgan Stanley at Work businesses, including guidance on policies, procedures, controls, and risk-related expectations. Partner with business, field, and control stakeholders to identify, evaluate, monitor, and escalate key risks and issues. Support execution of the risk and control framework for covered business activities, including risk assessments, issue identification, remediation tracking, and control enhancement efforts. Assist in the review and evaluation of new or evolving business initiatives, products, processes, or operating models to help identify potential risks and appropriate mitigating controls. Develop and deliver periodic and ad hoc training or communications to relevant stakeholders on key policies, procedures, risk themes, and control expectations. Prepare reporting, analytics, and presentation materials related to risk trends, issues, metrics, and governance routines. Monitor risk themes, control gaps, incidents, and emerging issues across the covered businesses and help drive timely escalation and resolution. Build and maintain strong relationships with Field leadership, business partners, and second-line and control functions to promote a consistent and effective risk culture. Contribute to special projects, strategic initiatives, and process improvement efforts across Client Segment Risk / Institutional Risk.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. Relevant experience in financial services, risk management, compliance, supervision, business controls, operations, audit, or a related control function. Strong understanding of risk management principles, control frameworks, issue management, and escalation protocols. Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations and translate them into practical business guidance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level materials.
