For External Posting Airbus US Manufacturing Facility is looking for an NDT Level 2 Inspector (2nd Shift) to join our Manufacturing department based in Mobile, AL. The breadth of exposure as an NDT Level II Inspector is immense, as the organization is responsible for a large diversity of inspection types across A220 and A320 programs. Your challenges: Perform a large diversity of NDT inspections (ET, UT and PT) across A220 and A320 programs. Interpret, evaluate, communicate, and report findings to production and engineering teams. Interpret and review engineering drawings as required Perform and/ or Support the development of NDT inspection techniques for complex geometries and confined spaces. Assist in training and developing others within the team. Conducts tests to resolve if parts meet quality specifications or specifying discontinuities. Ensures strict alignment to safety laws. Prepare the respective inspection reports, mappings and documents related to the inspection record. Reviews production schedule and works to facilitate meeting schedules Contribute to internal Quality Gates through on-time point closure Report/advance team blocking points throughout the shift Actively supply to department current KPI’s in order to drive improvements Is an advocate for LEAN within group; encourages LEAN thinking and supports and assists in the implementation of LEAN initiatives/KAIZENS Ensures all processes are followed Your boarding pass: An
