Overview
The Insight Global Consultant Onboarding Department is seeking an Onboarding Specialist who is passionate about providing a seamless onboarding experience for our Consultants while mitigating risk to the company. This role is responsible for executing required onboarding activities and ensuring all Consultants meet Insight Global and client onboarding criteria prior to begin ning assignment. Responsibilities • Manage a high-volume onboarding workload, owning onboarding across multiple clients from initiation through completion. • Initiate and track onboarding activities across multiple systems (ATLIS, Onboarding365, First Advantage, etc.), ensuring all onboarding requirements (I-9, E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, trainings, etc.) are met prior to a Consultant beginning assignment. • Maintain accurate, real-time records within onboarding systems throughout the onboarding process to ensure audit readiness and reliable reporting. • Review, interpret, and apply onboarding requirements to guide day-to-day onboarding execution and ensure alignment with Insight Global and client standards. • Communicate onboarding requirements, timelines, and next steps to Consultants through daily updates via email and phone. • Identify potential onboarding risks or delays and escalate appropriately to maintain Consultant start dates and ensure compliance, partnering with internal teams (e.g., Screening for background checks, Identity Fraud for risk-related escalations, etc.) to resolve issues. • Provide proactive onboarding status updates to internal partners, including Sales/Recruiting, IG Consulting, and Strategic Accounts, ensuring visibility into progress and clarity on requirements, risks, and next steps. • Stay current on onboarding policies, compliance requirements, and evolving client and business needs to ensure accurate and effective onboarding execution. • Build cross-divisional partnerships with Sales, Strategic Accounts, Customer Requirements, Compliance, Legal, Contracts, Payroll, HR, etc. to gather insight, maximize productivity, and accuracy in onboarding. • Assist with the implementation and adoption of new onboarding processes to improve the Consultant experience and support operational effectiveness. Qualifications • 1+ year of experience in onboarding, compliance, and/or customer service; staffing industry experience is a plus. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritize effectively. • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. • Adaptability to changing priorities, processes, and requirements. • Courage to take action and determination to deliver results. • Demonstrated growth mindset, with the ability to take and apply feedback and guidance to improve performance. • Ability to follow the hybrid in-office/remote policy (Monday–Thursday in office; Friday remote optional).
