ROLE
DESCRIPTION As a successful OTM Build to Rent Manager , you will lead our Build to Rent team whilst managing your own patch, target and client portfolio. This is a player-manager role, so you'll be expected to drive your own sales performance while supporting and developing the wider team. You will have a strong understanding of the Build to Rent sector, with experience working with operators, investors, asset managers and developers. You'll be comfortable winning new business, growing key accounts and building relationships across the industry. The Build to Rent team is in a good place and performing well. Following two team members moving on to external promotions, there is an opportunity for a manager to recruit new talent, shape the team and help drive the next phase of growth. You will work closely with colleagues across Sales, Product and Marketing to grow OTM's presence within the Build to Rent sector and maximise opportunities for our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and develop the Build to Rent team, supporting individuals to achieve their targets and deliver strong results. Develop and maintain a clear understanding of the Build to Rent market, identifying where the greatest opportunities exist to grow advertisers, revenue and market share. Manage your own sales target, territory and client portfolio, leading from the front and setting the standard through personal performance. Recruit, onboard and develop new team members, providing coaching, support and ongoing development. Generate new business opportunities and win new Build to Rent clients for OTM. Understand the OTM Build to Rent product suite and how it can help clients achieve their leasing and marketing goals. Identify new sales opportunities and build relationships with key decision-makers across the Build to Rent sector. Meet with new and existing clients to strengthen relationships and uncover commercial opportunities. Manage relationships with head office stakeholders, operational teams and site-based teams. Negotiate commercial agreements with new and existing clients. Monitor team performance, manage risks and communicate results and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
