This role is designed to support your transition from academia to industry. As an Operations Leadership Development Program associate, you'll rotate through operations-focused roles that support critical business processes and impact client, customer, and provider experiences. Experiences may vary by rotation and business area, and may include a mix of analytics, reporting, project management, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, technical initiatives, governance, strategic planning, and leadership development opportunities. Associates may work as individual contributors, leading projects and driving operational improvements, or as people leaders, overseeing team operations, setting goals, coaching team members, and supporting performance outcomes. Areas of exposure include: Customer & Client Service Operations Provider Solutions Strategy, Enablement & Operational Support within Client, Customer, and Provider workstreams Core Operations Improvement and Delivery Client, Customer, and Provider operations may include work that supports employer or business customer needs, the individual or member experience, and health care professional or provider network operations. Core Operations Rotation: Support critical operational processes that impact end-to-end client/customer/provider experiences Create reliable reporting and dashboards that provide visibility into operational processes and performance Influence partners and build alignment across a matrixed environment Support governance, performance management, and operational planning activities Improve processes through project leadership, team leadership, or operational execution Lead or support teams responsible for delivering operational outcomes Improvement and Delivery Rotation: Manage and execute on programs and projects aligned with enterprise objectives Apply project management, continuous improvement, and, where applicable, Agile methodologies to gain efficiency, reduce operating expenses, or improve customer experience Create recommendations based on data-driven insights, reporting, and analytics Gain experience in statistical process control, operational measurement, and performance improvement practices Partner with stakeholders across functions to solve business problems and implement sustainable solutions Support technical, reporting, automation, or analytics-focused work depending on rotation placement and business need As an associate in the program, you will also be able to participate in the following opportunities: New Hire Onboarding & Learning Series: New associates are provided with an initial onboarding and learning series throughout their first year that includes an introduction to the industry, company structure, and Operations leaders. This enables associates to begin developing skills such as business acumen, effective communication, conflict resolution, and data analysis. OLDP Offsite Events: Program associates will be invited to attend an offsite to connect and network with other OLDP associates and Operations leaders as well as participate in training and development opportunities. OLDP Workgroup Involvement: Participate and take on a leadership role in a workgroup with other OLDP associates to support program activities such as recruitment, inclusion, learning & development, and branding.
