Strategic Account Technology Strategist (S-ATS) - Financial Services, Insurance

The Strategic Account Technology Strategist (S-ATS) is Microsoft's experienced technology advisor for a strategic Insurance Financial Services customer. Acting as a virtual CTO, the S-ATS owns executive technology relationships, shapes the customer's long-term technology strategy, and aligns Microsoft AI, Cloud, Security, Data, and Modern Workplace capabilities to business outcomes.The S-ATS works closely with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs, enterprise architects, and business executives to drive digital transformation, modernisation, AI adoption, and innovation. Customer & Industry Leadership Develop deep understanding of the customer's business strategy, industry trends, regulatory environment, and market ecosystem. Act as a trusted advisor to executive technology stakeholders. Provide thought leadership on AI, cloud transformation, cyber security, data platforms, digital operations, and future-state architectures. Bring industry-specific insights and use cases relevant to Financial Services.  Technology Strategy Define and drive the customer's technology roadmap. Translate business priorities into technology outcomes. Lead technical envisioning and architecture discussions. Help customers develop secure AI and cloud adoption strategies. Influence long-term platform and architecture decisions. Executive Engagement Own relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CISOs and technology leadership teams. Facilitate executive workshops and strategic planning sessions. Connect business value with technology investments. Drive executive alignment on transformation initiatives. Orchestration & Sales Leadership Lead virtual teams across Microsoft, partners, engineering, consulting and customer success organisations. Orchestrate specialists, architects, security experts, services teams and partners around customer outcomes. Support strategic opportunities and growth initiatives. Accelerate Azure, AI, Security, Data and Copilot adoption.  Business Impact Drive measurable business outcomes for customers. Support Azure consumption growth and AI transformation. Develop customer investment strategies and roadmaps. Ensure value realisation across strategic programmes.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field AND extensive experience in technology consulting, enterprise architecture, technical sales, or digital transformation. Solid understanding of cloud, AI, security, data and application platforms. Proven success working with top business and technology executives. Deep Financial Services industry experience, specifically in Insurance  English language Preferred Qualifications Experience leading large-scale cloud transformations. AI and Data platform strategy experience. Enterprise architecture and operating model transformation. Experience working directly with C-level stakeholders. Executive communication and influencing skills. German language Strategic Account Technology IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Switzerland is CHF 154,000.00 - CHF 300,200.00 per year.
