About this role
Overall Scope : Provide functional, technical and regulatory distribution guidance to VGO. Manage training needs for regulatory purposes. Maintain DOT/ IATA / IMDG certifications to ensure site shipments are managed in a legal and correct manner. Serve as the site logistic coordinator. Resource the site concerning correct packaging and distribution needs for products and sample shipments. Represent the site in the Corteva North America Logistic Network. Main responsibility : Provide functional, technical and regulatory guidance and leadership to shipping, loaders and warehouse personnel regarding distribution and hazardous materials technology and regulatory requirements to ensure regulatory compliance. Define day-by-day priorities and activities for the Distribution Center, Site Shipping and Receiving teams and Packaging Warehouse personnel, including contingent staffing. Responsible for the Distribution Center budget and spending Responsible for safe operation of the Corteva Distribution Center and logistic organization Site logistic coordinator and resource leader. Lead and develop the site logistic team, including hazmat training coordination for the entire VGO site. Manage, lead and provide guidance and leadership to the Distribution Center team, shipping and receiving team Act as connection with the PEC (Product Evaluation Center) contractor (remote location) Maintain knowledge and act as a resource with regards to the shipment of RCRA hazardous materials from the site. Participate in site planning / overview meetings. Site representative for regulatory (DOT /FIFRA) audits. Work with business units to provide regulatory support and guidance of product packaging, labeling and container selection in order to ensure compliance with Federal Department of Transportation requirements. Act as the site sponsor for the shuttle operation while assuring materials are transported in a safe and cost effective manner in support of the site businesses. Provide regulatory resourcing to the Distribution Center and Shipping and Receiving group and assist and plan in their professional development.
Required qualifications
