We help keep this nation and our allies secure and we need your expertise to deliver amazing new technologies to our customers while maintaining the technical requirements of the strategic deterrence.   We want you to support the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program by joining the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team as a Systems Engineer. The Embedded System Engineering team handles all Component level requirements for the Trident II ballistic missile (commonly known as the D5LE and D5LE2 missile), oversees interface definitions, plans and executes verification processes, and has fingers in every development project under the FBM Program. As a Systems Engineer for the Embedded System Engineering team on the FBM Life Extension 2 (LE2) program, you will: Develop/analyze/verify component level requirements and document/manage accordingly. Coordinate with the customer and other organizations to implement verification analyses and tests. Organize/coordinate objective evidence creation and documentation. Organize/coordinate component level technical reviews. Prepare, review and present data products for technical reviews. Mentor the team and provide guidance to early career staff.   Successful candidates typically have 9+ years of professional experience.
