The Global Specialty Recruiting Team (GSR) recruits for Amazon's most senior technical and leadership roles. We are seeking a Talent Intelligence Analyst to develop mission-critical insights and analysis for a data-driven talent acquisition team. You will work with business leaders and talent acquisition partners to define key talent questions, set up data structures to collect information, and design and execute research projects to answer those questions. The Talent Intelligence Analyst will partner with GSR and the business to drive hiring strategies globally by sharing market insights and advising recruiting and leadership. Scope This role is critical to building our research capability across multiple locations and partnering with business teams to design recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill, business-critical roles. You will act as a talent advisor, partnering with GSR Recruiters, Human Resources, Finance, and business customers to drive strategy, goals, processes, and metrics. The ideal candidate You operate effectively in ambiguity, are highly analytical, and can independently set up frameworks to understand talent markets. You have experience providing information that yields measurable results. You can work independently to research, analyze data, and create geo-talent solutions to determine the best locations to grow our businesses – whether competing in hyper-competitive markets or identifying opportunity sites to access niche skillsets. You are curious, driven, and solution-oriented, with an understanding of global talent flows to support future business growth. Key job responsibilities Market Intelligence & Research: Lead end-to-end market intelligence projects, including geographical deep dives, talent competitor analysis, benchmarking studies, and predictive trend research. Combine primary and secondary research methods (expert interviews, surveys, desk research) with both quantitative and qualitative data to inform recruiting strategy. Data Storytelling & Strategy Documents: Translate complex data into clear narratives, executive-ready visuals, and data-driven site strategy documents that influence organizational goals such as cost savings, diversity, and access to talent. AI/Automation & Tooling: Design and maintain self-service dashboards and automated workflows; leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and reduce manual effort. Maintain hands-on proficiency with vendor research platforms (e.g., PitchBook, Capital IQ) for market and financial data sourcing. Market Pulse & Trend Synthesis: Synthesize industry trends, competitor moves, and market signals into timely, digestible updates that keep Talent Acquisition leadership ahead of the curve. Evaluate and triangulate across sources to ensure accuracy. Stakeholder Partnership & Advisory: Partner with Recruiting leadership, HR, Compensation, executive leaders, and business stakeholders to provide strategic recommendations that shape hiring decisions and ensure a superior client and candidate experience. Recruiting Enablement & Collaboration: Mentor and partner with Sourcers and Recruiters on passive sourcing strategies; contribute to the broader TA knowledge base through education on relevant industries and talent pools. Execution & Problem-Solving in Ambiguity: Operate independently to manage competing priorities in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment; frame research questions, set delivery timelines, run experiments, and iterate based on results with minimal direction.
