The impact you’ll make

As a Test Engineer at Lam, you'll design and implement efficient testing methods for product development and manufacturing, improving quality and reducing cycle time. You'll perform diagnostic tests, design test features and equipment, and create detailed specifications for new products. Designs, develops, and implements cost-efficient methods to test and troubleshoot systemsand equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing.  Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and documentsspecifications and procedures for new products.  Plans labor, cost, timeline, and equipment required for testing Managing of work packages for Lam internal and external resources, who supports with testfixture design and Python coding Transfer test fixtures to suppliers (including traveling and training) Off- and On-side support for supplier Support Manufacturing Engineering activities like assembly instruction creation, BOM andassembly verification for specific programs Implement new ideas and defining new ways of testing to reduce costs and test time  Who we’re looking for

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechantronics engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience. Relevant work experience with Wet-Clean products. Programming skills (preferably Python). MS Office skills. Experience in lean manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing methodologies preferred. Hands-on experience with CAD, NX or similar tools. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Self-managed and proactive working style. Willingness to work overtime when required. Ability to travel to suppliers or other Lam locations. What We're Offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group E or F, depending on education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on expertise and skills.
