Total Number of Openings 1 Chevron is accepting online applications for the position Business Performance Delivery Analyst through September 20 th at 11:59 p.m. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Frequent communication with Empresas Mixtas Planning teams, to capture information to meet the annual Business Plan requirements with the needed consistency. Supports proper use of economic evaluation and decision analysis tools and their linkage to portfolio management and integration into the business planning process. Collaborates closely with Planning organization to ensure compliance with PDVSA planning guidelines, while ensuring the Empresa Mixta interests are properly represented. Coordinates the completion of other Planning processes such as: Small Capital Projects lookback; Mid-year update, Planning focus contact point for Business Plan reserves movements, Asset Development Plan. Preparation and consolidation of monthly reports to measure performance and operational reports. Mentor experienced Analysts. Analyze, track and prepare management reports of Key Performance Indicators: production, operating costs, capex, earnings, cash flow and variation analysis including technical and economic key performance indicator.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor´s degree in an Engineering, Economics or Business Career (others may apply). Expertise in data consolidation from different sources as the position is responsible to manage information consolidation impacting the multiple areas Ability to support the Decision Analysis Team by becoming the liaison with the technical and functional teams. Provide inputs and analyze outputs, as well as manage other tools for Business Plan preparation. Solid competency of Microsoft Office tools, including MS Power BI. Knowledge and application of Agile with use of Scrum (certification is a plus). Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to address situations and develop solutions with minimal supervision. Must be able to follow tasks and projects through to completion. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently while meeting quality standards and deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and establish appropriate priorities often to meet short deadlines. Adapt to changing business plans and conditions. Works with a diverse set of personnel (multi-cultural, multi-discipline, multi-schedule, Chevron/PDVSA/Contractors). Recognized as a team player and has the ability to motivate others (including technical and management team groups) to get accurate information timely. Capable of building strong working relationships with internal and external customers. Must have executive level English communications skills, both oral and written. Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with senior management. Spanish language capability required to communicate with PDVSA partners and lead joint venture employees. Experience in team leadership roles, demonstrates willingness to learn and act as a mentor for less experience Planning Analysts acknowledges success/contributions of others.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with Business Planning or Operational/Project Management roles. Executive level English communications skills, both oral and written. Demonstrated competency of Microsoft Office tools, including Power BI. Great communicator across all levels of the organization, including internal stakeholders and external partners.
