Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about pushing the boundaries of what's possible.   The Work Selected candidate will be the First Line Manager for a team of Specialty Engineers with expertise in the following domains:  Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA), System Safety, and Electromagnetic Effects Engineering (EEE).   Responsibilities include: • Owner/focal point for Specialty Engineering (SpE) program execution and proposal development. • Development of Specialty Engineering solutions, modeling and analysis for systems, system of systems, subsystems, and parts.  Develop cost estimates and lead Specialty Engineering proposal efforts. • Coordinating employee work assignments, recruitment and hiring, training and career development, performance assessments, salary actions, and recognition/disciplinary actions. • Collaborating with other RMS Specialty Engineering leaders, program leadership, suppliers, and customer. • Establishing organizational vision, goals, and metrics to track performance.   This is a direct position in Syracuse, NY. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.  Basic Qualifications
