The Opportunity

This role is an opportunity to contribute to our Enabling Functions line of Business by delivering outcomes that matter. You will work with the Security team to understand priorities, solve problems and support delivery of our programs. In this role, you will: Assist with the coordination of day-to-day security activities to ensure compliance with corporate policies and other relevant security policies and frameworks. Provide general security advice and support to program teams, employees, and Security Points of Contact (SPOCs) on security requirements and best practices. Assist with the management of personnel security activities, including clearance sponsorship, maintenance, defensive briefings, and ongoing security aftercare. Support security governance, assurance, and compliance activities through reporting, metrics, audits, and DISP-related obligations. Follow security administration processes, including onboarding and offboarding, pass and clearance management, security records, and incident reporting.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings judgement, curiosity and a collaborative approach to work that matters. Essential for this role: Demonstrated communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and provide trusted advice. Ability to coordinate competing activities, and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret security-related information. Ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative team environment, demonstrating initiative and sound judgement. Customer-focused and adaptable, with the capability to quickly learn new systems, technologies, and processes while maintaining a high standard of service delivery. Advantageous, but not essential: Certificate IV in Government Security or Certificate IV
