Standard Job Description 
 Administers the company vehicle fleet policy to ensure the efficient and economical use of company-owned or company-leased vehicles. In the administration of the policy, may become involved in one or more of the following: purchase and disposal of the vehicles, insurance administration, expense report administration, safety policy definition and communication of that policy, accident review, maintenance policy definition and administration, and interfacing with other departments in matters relating to the vehicle fleet policy.   Summary of Key Duties for this position: Develop, maintain, and enforce a comprehensive vehicle‑fleet policy that involves acquisition, usage, maintenance, disposal, and safety for all Office of Space Launch (OSL)‑owned assets and GSA‑provided vehicles. Coordinate and oversee preventive‑maintenance programs (scheduled services, inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, brake checks, etc.) to ensure each vehicle and piece of equipment meets required readiness standards. Support management of service contracts and vendor relationships for routine and corrective maintenance, calibrations, and major repairs; monitor performance metrics to help enforce service‑level agreements. Conduct regular readiness inspections and certify that all vehicles/equipment are mission‑capable, properly documented, and compliant with safety regulations. Serve as the primary liaison with OSL program managers, launch site personnel, and GSA representatives, facilitating coordination of vehicle allocation, scheduling, and issue resolution. Ensure record‑keeping and documentation (maintenance logs, inspection tags, accident reports) are complete, auditable, and retained in accordance with government regulations and internal policy. Coordinate launch base range support services including wide load permitting, mobile crane support, proof load and NDE support. Manage disposal or redistribution of decommissioned vehicles/equipment, coordinating with GSA, environmental services, and excess property disposal channels. Basic Qualifications 
 Education: High school diploma/GED. Technical: Experience with road tractors, trucks, trailers, forklifts, aerial lifts and other forms of motorized equipment Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience using asset management software. Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Effective oral and written communication; proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders (program managers, GSA contacts, maintenance vendors). Ability to work flexible hours if required, including nights and weekends, to support launch base mission requirements Ability to work in a launch site environment, including the ability to climb stairs and evacuate the launch complexes wearing breathing apparatus, if required Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly Desired Skills 
 Experience: ≥ 3 years of progressively responsible experience in vehicle/fleet management, logistics, or property management. Vehicle‑Fleet Experience: Minimum 3 years managing government‑owned or leased motorized equipment (vehicles, trailers, generators, ground support equipment) in a government or aerospace environment. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DoD/ GSA vehicle‑fleet regulations. Maintenance Oversight: Demonstrated experience developing and executing preventive‑maintenance schedules, tracking service records, and ensuring equipment readiness. Record‑Keeping / Reporting: Ability to maintain accurate asset inventories, maintenance logs, and produce status/readiness reports for leadership. Program‑Specific Experience: Prior work supporting launch‑site operations, satellite transport, or other Space Launch Service (SLS) programs. Contract & Procurement Knowledge: Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and GSA lease‑agreement
