Job Description
Location: Fremont, OH Pay: $20.06–$23.73/hour + $0.50/night shift premium Overtime: 1.5x pay for hours over 40 per week Schedule: 12-hour 2-2-3 straight night shift (6:55pm– 7:10am) Work 3–4 days per week with schedules provided a full calendar year in advance Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, disability, and life insurance coverage starting day one 401(k): Dollar-for-dollar match up to 8% Paid time off and holidays Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities Join Amcor as a Shipping Handler and play a key role in maintaining the flow of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and supplies while keeping our warehouse and dock areas organized and safe. Your work ensures smooth operations and helps deliver high-quality packaging to our customers worldwide. What you’ll do: Load and unload trailers of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, supplies, and equipment Prepare and print picklists, load lists, and truck lists using SAP Inspect shipments and trailers for damage, contamination, or cleanliness Stage outbound shipments according to assigned BOL and pick lists Seal, secure, stretch wrap, and/or band materials as needed Label inbound materials accurately and store in proper locations Operate RF scanners for inventory tracking and location updates Maintain clean, safe, and organized dock and warehouse areas Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives Support plant operations as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor or team leader Follow all safety, GMP, Food Safety, and operational procedures What We Want From You:
Preferred qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent Effective interpersonal and communication skills Alignment with Amcor Core Values and teamwork mindset Basic math, computer skills, and RF scanning proficiency Ability to complete Amcor Forklift Certification and Shipping Handling training Flexibility to work weekends when needed Reliable attendance and commitment to working 12-hour shifts Physical Requirements Stand on and operate standup forklift for a full 12.25-hour shift Work in high-heat or cold environments as required Stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Perform tasks in a fast-paced production environment Why Amcor?
