Location: 2 positions total: 2 onshore Dallas or Jersey City. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Apigee API Platform Development Engineer to lead the design, security, and management of our APIs and API gateway platform. In this role, you will leverage deep expertise in Apigee API traffic management , REST API security patterns (Basic Auth, OAuth 2.0, mTLS), and CDN integration (Akamai) to ensure our APIs are scalable, secure, and high-performing. You will also play a key role in Apigee architecture oversight and spearhead our transition from Apigee Edge to Apigee Hybrid deployment. The ideal candidate is a Senior API Platform Engineer with 8+ years of experience (including substantial Apigee Edge/Hybrid experience) in building enterprise-grade API management solutions, designing robust API proxies and flows, and implementing advanced security and traffic-control policies.

Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 5 years focused on API management and Google Apigee platform (Apigee Edge and/or Apigee Hybrid ). Proven track record of designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale API
