AMRAAM Production Execution is seeking an Associate Director to serve as the AMRAAM Production Integration & Readiness (PIR) Program Manager within the Air Dominance SSBU of the ASDS SBU. Reporting to the Production Director, this leader is fully accountable for Lot 39/40 performance, including contract execution, P&L accountability, production readiness, integration, TE resiliency execution, obsolescence production interface and customer engagement. The role requires influential leadership across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and contracts, as well as close collaboration as the production liaison to the International PM team & Global Air Dominance team (Test Optimization, MYP and Obsolescence).The Associate Director drives priorities, schedule and cost performance, production stability, and long-term readiness. Responsibilities include customer engagement, production gating and capture activities, EAC management, and proactive Risk and Opportunity mitigation. This position is located in Tucson, AZ. Relocation is not available.
What You will Do
Lead P&L, cost, schedule, and technical execution for AMRAAM Lot 39/40 contract. Primary Raytheon interface for customer engagements. Execute Production Gates, Capture activities, negotiations, and contract startup to support awards. Manage contract execution, production handoffs, and integration activities. Develop and manage EAC planning, performance, and PM cadence (risk boards, PMRs, staffing/schedule reviews, decision reviews). Drive R&O mitigation and capture strategies to protect schedule, cost, and production continuity. Ensure compliance with RLPM, contract requirements, and corporate policy. Lead PM cadence including risk boards, schedule reviews, PMRs, staffing reviews, and decision reviews. Direct and coordinate cross‑functional team across engineering, SCM, ops, quality, finance, contracts. Develop AOP goals and long‑range production strategies. Serve as Production Liaison to Global Air Dominance team. Oversee Test Equipment (TE) resiliency efforts, align with production strategy, TE roadmap & optimization. Manage TE spares and on‑hand posture to support delivery requirements. Evaluate supplier performance and support SCM in driving schedule and quality compliance. Provide business cases for Make‑Buy‑Where decisions and lead forward‑path recommendations. Lead, mentor, and develop direct and indirect matrixed team members.
