JOB SUMMARY The Learning & Development Coordinator will support the EMEA Learning & Development Team in operational and training delivery activities such as coordinating logistics for virtual and in-person sessions, administering Marriott’s digital learning platforms, engaging the learning coordinator community, delivering webinars, office hours, orientations, and liaising with property and above property stakeholders on learning and development related initiatives and projects. The role will act as a backup facilitator when needed and support with rollout of global and continent driven projects including learning readiness efforts for deployment of the Power of M in EMEA.
Candidate Profile
Marriott certified learning coordinator with knowledge of Marriott’s digital learning platforms Previous human resources / training experience strongly preferred Attention to detail Proactive approach Able to use own initiative Ability to work with little / no supervision Ability to deliver instructor led sessions virtually and in-person
Skills and Competencies
Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in computer software like Microsoft 365, PowerBI and hotel operational systems Data intelligence: Ability to analyze complex learning related data and inform decisions Communication Skills: Able to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Language: Excellent communication skills – written and verbal English
Core Work Activities
Build and manage EMEA foundational and non-foundational courses in the DLZ Support the L+D delivery team with administration of the leadership framework pathway; build courses in the DLZ and NovoEd as needed, manage enrolments, track and report on completions of the pathway Coordinate all pre-and-post logistics related to Marriott foundational and non-foundational courses held virtually and in-person, including booking of venues, coordinating with host hotel on logistics and organization of program material Facilitate virtual delivery as a backup facilitator when needed and support pre-opening team with delivery of virtual brand immersions Technical expertise in Marriott’s digital learning platforms for EMEA; support properties with leading and facilitating learning technology workshops Interpret and analyze learning reports from Marriott’s digital learning platforms Management and coordination of the EMEA Learning Coordinator network, driving engagement through DLZ communities, delivery of regularly scheduled office hours and webinars Support with management of L+D catalogue and calendar Support with coordination and deployment of key Marriott projects and initiatives such as Power of M, leveraging Marriott’s project management platform for tracking learning task completions and supporting hotels with virtual and in-person roadshows and workshops as needed
