Carry out supervision and monitoring of construction and installation works to ensure compliance with the Contract requirements, approved design documentation, technical specifications, and applicable regulatory standards. Monitor the quality of materials, equipment, and completed works, including verification of certificates, passports, and laboratory test results. Monitor the Contractor's adherence to the construction schedule and promptly inform the Engineer of any potential deviations. Participate in inspections, site assessments, examination of concealed works, and acceptance procedures. Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety, industrial safety, and environmental protection requirements on the construction site. Review as-built documentation, construction logs, inspection certificates, and other technical documents submitted by the Contractor. Participate in the review of Contractor's requests, technical proposals, design modifications, and alternative technical solutions. Prepare comments, instructions, and recommendations for the elimination of identified non-conformities. Monitor the Contractor's implementation of corrective actions and rectification of defects. Participate in the verification of completed work quantities and validation of data submitted by the Contractor for payment purposes. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports on construction activities and keep the Engineer informed of emerging risks and unresolved issues. . How to copy from a Word Document Minimum 5 years of experience in the supervision, construction, rehabilitation, or maintenance of road and highway infrastructure projects. Demonstrated experience in road works including earthworks, pavement construction, asphalt and concrete pavements, drainage systems, road structures, traffic management, and road safety measures. Proven experience in monitoring compliance with road construction specifications, quality control requirements, and applicable standards for highways and roads. Experience in inspection and acceptance of road construction works, including subgrade, base course, asphalt layers, culverts, bridges, and related infrastructure. Familiarity with international road construction standards and contract conditions (FIDIC experience is an advantage). Experience in reviewing laboratory testing results for road construction materials, including soil, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete. Previous involvement in internationally financed road projects funded by IFIs (ADB, World Bank, EBRD, AIIB, IsDB, etc.) would be an advantage.
