Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Operator at our Valdosta, GA crop protection site. This role supports safe, reliable plant operations through hands-on equipment operation, troubleshooting, maintenance preparation, and strong teamwork. Please note: Relocation is not offered. VISA Sponsorship is not available This role is 100% on-site. What You’ll Do : The Operations Support Operator helps keep the facility running safely and efficiently. Key responsibilities include: Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot plant equipment and processes. Identify process, safety, and quality issues. Follow site safety, environmental, operating, maintenance, and material flow procedures. Communicate clearly between shifts. Promote teamwork and complete other duties as assigned.
Education
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
Basic Requirements
Have a valid U.S. driver’s license. Ability to pass required drug screens, background check, and other pre-employment screens. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime. Basic computer skills. Meet all applicable medical and safety requirements necessary to perform the essential functions of the position while using required PPE and respiratory protection. What Skills You Need : Lift, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times per day. Remain standing and/or walking for extended periods, including up to two hours between scheduled breaks. Safely climb and descend stairs, ladders, and elevated work platforms. Wear respiratory protection equipment, including powered air-purifying respirators (PAPR) or similar respiratory devices, for extended periods as required by the job. Recognize and respond to alarms and hazard warnings. Follow procedures to support safe and efficient operations. Wear and work in required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, long-sleeved clothing, fall-protection harnesses, and other site-specific safety equipment. Safely operate fork trucks. Work in tight spaces, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights, stand or walk for extended periods, bend and reach frequently, and work outdoors in inclement weather. *** If hired, the candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
