In this role, you’ll partner with trading desks and finance teams to produce timely P&L reporting, strengthen controls, and support new initiatives. As a Product Control Analyst in the Product Control team, you will support financial controllers and trading desks to ensure P&L reporting, balance sheet oversight, and month-end close procedures are completed accurately and on time. You will produce and analyze P&L information, provide reporting to key stakeholders, and partner with cross-functional teams to resolve control and reporting issues. You will also support control enhancements and business initiatives through analysis and project support.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with P&L reporting and month-end close processes Produce, consolidate, and analyze daily, monthly, and yearly P&L information Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to desk heads, business managers, and senior finance management Partner with the business to implement robust controls and support new initiatives Coordinate across front and back office support functions to resolve control and reporting issues accurately and on time Support investigations of reporting discrepancies and drive issues to resolution through appropriate follow-up and escalation Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control, including process improvement efforts Handle ad hoc requests and time-sensitive analysis as needed Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, product control, financial control, or a related area Experience with P&L reporting and month-end close processes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Demonstrated interest in challenging current processes and driving improvements Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Strong accounting background Experience supporting trading desks or markets-related businesses Familiarity with financial products and market drivers of P&L Experience with financial reporting tools or automation approaches Experience working in a global or cross-functional environment
