The Commercial Engines Business Internship provides college juniors/masters students majoring in business‑related fields with hands‑on experience supporting the commercial, financial, and customer‑focused functions of Commercial Engines. Interns will contribute to real business projects, assist in developing insights that drive strategic decisions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the Commercial Engines enterprise. This program is designed to build analytical, organizational, and professional skills while offering exposure to the commercial aviation industry and opportunities to learn from experienced business leaders. Interns within this program will be considered for potential full-time offers into the Commercial Engines Leadership Development Program following graduation.
What You Will Do
Support various business teams in Commercial Engines by assisting with data collection, analysis, and the preparation of insights that inform business and operational decisions. Contribute to ongoing projects by helping coordinate activities, tracking progress, and documenting key updates or outcomes. Develop and maintain reports, summaries, or presentations for internal stakeholders across business and customer‑focused groups. Assist in evaluating current business processes, identifying improvement/automation opportunities (especially those involving digital solutions), and recommending practical, data‑supported solutions. Participate in cross‑functional meetings to understand how commercial, technical, and customer perspectives come together within the Commercial Engines organization. Help prepare materials for leadership reviews, team briefings, or customer‑related analyses. Support ad‑hoc tasks and special projects aligned with commercial strategy, operational performance, or business transformation initiatives. Engage in intern program activities, networking sessions, and learning opportunities to build knowledge of the Commercial Engines business.
Qualifications
You Must Have Must be pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Business fields, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, or an integrated Business and Engineering program and actively enrolled through completion of the internship session. Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship. Experience with general business operations Experience in Microsoft Office Tools U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access certain necessary systems or sites. Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
