Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Sundays) Location: Service Centre Work Pattern: Sunday , 10:00am - 2:00pm (4 hours per week) Summary of Role Join our fast-paced pharmaceutical supply chain and play a vital role in supporting the delivery of medicines to patients across the UK. As a Warehouse Operative, you will contribute to the efficient processing, picking, packing, and routing of healthcare products, helping to maintain the integrity and reliability of our supply chain while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
Replenish stock within the automated warehouse system. Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently. Work across manual picking belt, bulk, refrigerated, and secure storage areas. Route completed orders to the correct transport destinations. Ensure products are handled in accordance with quality and safety standards. Maintain high levels of accuracy when processing orders. Support the smooth operation of warehouse activities to meet service targets. Follow company health and safety procedures at all times. Skills and Knowledge Previous warehouse or logistics experience is beneficial. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexible and adaptable approach to work. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Good visual accuracy and attention to detail. Basic numeracy skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Desirable Experience working within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated environment. Familiarity with warehouse management systems. Experience using automated warehouse equipment. Understanding of stock control processes. Knowledge of order picking and packing procedures. Ability to multitask across different warehouse functions. Experience working towards performance targets. Willingness to learn new skills and support different operational areas.

Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or equivalent certification preferred.
Knowledge in warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping. Knowledge in inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements. Knowledge in temperature-controlled handling and cold chain support requirements for sensitive products and materials. Knowledge in packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations. Knowledge in shipment documentation, operational recordkeeping, and transaction processing requirements. Knowledge in safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools. Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions. Ability to maintain
