Control Execution Oversight Intermediate Analyst

As an Intermediate Analyst in the HR Control Execution Oversight function, you will support the team in monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of in-business controls. You will perform assigned tasks that are part of the larger oversight program, helping to ensure that control execution adheres to Citi's standards. This role provides an opportunity to develop expertise in risk management and control oversight.

Perform activities in support of the control oversight program for various risk areas. Execute control oversight activities, including attestations, quality oversight, and related reporting. Identify, analyze, and assess potential risks associated with control execution failures. Execute control oversight in accordance with applicable policies. Support in identifying potential controls for centralized execution Participate in strategic initiatives viz. controls rationalization, reengineering leveraging AI, automation, etc. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for control execution. Maintain the tracking and reporting inventory for control execution oversight. Promote best practices, transformation, and execution consistency across business/functions. Collaborate and serve as a trusted partner for colleagues across controls & business teams Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of teams and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

8-10 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry. Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls. Good knowledge of the development and execution of controls. Experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes. Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, best practices, and Citi's Policies, Standards, and Procedures. Good analytical skills to evaluate risk and control activities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
