Job Summary

As a Logistics Coordinator III supporting power generation supply chain, you’ll be at the heart of our logistics operations, supporting the team in ensuring smooth logistics processes. Your key responsibilities will include accurately recording and processing inventory adjustments using our state-of-the-art tools and software, all while maintaining a safe work environment.   You will also support team members in advancing their logistic skills and expertise.

What you will do

Deliver, pick & tag, move, and remove materials accurately and efficiently  Operate PIT equipment (i.e. forklifts, tuggers, pack mules, etc) to move materials within the facility Perform SAP transactions Utilize SAP knowledge for daily tasks  Assist with inventory management and accuracy Generate and close In-Plant Logistics (IPL) as needed Load and off-load materials on trailers  Check, tag, and repack various material  Ensure received and delivered materials meet quality standards Repack and organize parts for warehouse storage or assembly area delivery Handle shipping, receiving, and invoice verification for inventory accuracy Efficiently deliver and remove materials Submit and assist with the resolution of Continuous Improvement Cards  Assist in problem-solving and improvement initiatives across departments Escalate issues and the necessary resources to root cause and develop counter measures Follow standard operating procedures and area-specific work instructions  Ability to backfill all logistics roles and duties within assigned team Train and assist new team members to include power industrial truck operations as needed Record and maintain all documents related to PIT certification process Report to Section Managers and be assigned to departments within the business to meet customer and company demands  Occasionally participate in training and development Perform any other assigned duties What you will have: Minimum of 6 months' experience conducting warehouse and/or logistics job functions or relevant college degree Previous experience and/or certification in operating forklifts, tugger, and/or other power equipment Ability to work well with others Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English Intermediate experience with computers and with inventory management software Previous experience with Standard Operating Procedures or Standard Work Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to adhere to safety procedures What would make you a top candidate: Previous experience working in a logistics/warehouse environment supporting assembly of products Previous Forklift experience Ability to research inventory, locate material, and perform inventory transactions Previous experience utilizing PLEX Previous experience utilizing SAP Previous formal and/or informal leadership/training experience Physical Requirements: Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time Ability to perform repetitive operations Ability to lift up
